Details: Largemouth Bass
Out Sunday for a few hours. We caught 18 LM Bass, one 10" squib and one close to 20", but the rest 13-15"
Fish were tight to cover. Had to make ...more contact with the cover to get bit.-

Out today (5-31-18) for a bit mid-morning to lunch time. Handful of boats targeting panfish were also out. People we talked to all seemed to be doing pretty good, ...more and there's lots of nests all over in the sand.
Bass cooperated for the couple hours we were out. Made three drifts, caught 22 LM between 12-17" and also lost a real nice bass. Couple of bonus shorty pike and a couple of bite-offs as well. Carp are up and swimming in small packs.
Weeds are finally coming around, and there's lots of baitfish up and around.
Not a bad to be out, and not a bad run for 3ish hours.

Out Monday 6-26, Mid -Morning. Wind was crazy, but got on a school of fish off the break. Had to drift through them and then reset. As wind picked up/front came ...more in, we moved right to the shallow edge and starting catching them there.
Caught around 30 LM and a Warmouth. Almost everything was short 8-13 inches, but we had 2 at 15"
Pulled out at 1pm. -
Had a couple hours before I had to pick up the kids from school, so snuck out for 2.5 hours mid day.
SOOO MANY CARP ON THE SURFACE! Everywhere! Gar too! Would ...more be a bow-fishing dreamland out there right now.
That said, made one trolling motor pass around the lake. Caught a bunch of undersize LM...8-13", but had two that were 15"+
Summer pattern is setting in, the bite will get good now. -

Out this afternoon 3-7:30. Fished leeches on light lindy rigs and split shot rigs.
Caught 16 LM (12-15") plus some bonus bluegills, green sunfish and even ...more a 10" yellow perch. Bass were tight to weeds, and getting them to bite took some patience, but we fished from anchor and slowly dragged our live bait rigs to get bites.
Would have liked to try some plastics around the docks and reeds, but I had some guys in the boat that were having trouble keeping contact with their bait in the wind, so we stayed with the lindys.
Nice night to be out. Water was 74 when we pulled out at 8pm.
