      They will burn up an electric fillet knife with those big scales but they are sure good eating

      I love when ppl say that they are trash fish, if that's the case then I'll be the trashcan they can throw in. Me and my uncle caught 6 one day in Cut Off ...more and we brought em home and fried, baked and even grilled em and along with the reds and specs they were delicious and we used barnacles that we scraped off bridge pilings (forgot shrimp at home).

    River bass is good bass! Caught 3 this size fishing the open areas after a neck in the river.

    Same gar as bleary before this but better look at the head of it

      That doesn't look like a spotted gar the nose is too long. It's a long nose

    Huge 3-4 gar. Really fun to catch but spitt the hook after a 5 min fight but got great look at it
