      Thanks I'm going to fish the canals south of Grassy Lake Sat do you have any knowledge of that area? Its the first time i go south of lake veret.

      29.786839,-91.789665...... sorry for the late reply....... this place is fun for bass....... don't go down any other canal ..... before that point ... you'll ...more run aground ... or suck mud...... you can stay on step.... make the right..... pass the cut on left then get off plane..... fish both sides ..... fish methodically. ... about 9 am they start to hit the brush hogs..... they like top water also...... repeated cast..... you only need to fish

      caught 3 in grass on Levee caught 2 off powerline north of Interstate on squarebill no luck on ski course water was black and clear. Do you know of anywhere in south ...more Louisiana that I can bring my Dad fish and have a good chance to boat a few Henderson is too slow for him.

      along the levie the grass is key... frogs .... and spinner baits...the frogs .... fish very slow.... 2-3 loud pops.... then drink a soda.... and repeat..... the ...more wait has been key....

      Nah .... fishing has been good.... they have been hitting square bills at drains.........crawfish color.... and sexy shad, have had luck with swim baits ... Caffene ...more shad ,sexy shad weighted hook.1/8- 1/4" ..... 5.0 hook...... along the levie... in the grass..... also in the ski course....go through the crossing... then go past the Frenchman landing cut..... 2nd peninsula on the left work the canal as the water flows out.....swim the baits under the hydrilla mats simpl

      with the falling water I thought it would of been good but the clear low oxygen water coming out of the woods must turn them off,

    pitching ,Texas rigged the turtle.... left the weight loose no peg..... brought the lure over a limb the weight slipped down to bottom then the turtle followed slowly.. ...more the Fish was on

      I would bet the Indian mounds with a swim 1/2 Oz swim jig.... blue gill/ light brown colors.... with a swim bait trailer....caffeine shad..... long cast into the ...more reeds..... and follow the contours and the drops...... with a fast short continuous vibrating of the rod will work great during the heat of the day....noon when it gets slow....... rip it through the weeds when you get hung up..... big strikes

    cast to the bank..... working slow back to the boat.... with a periodic pop to jump off the bottom... the bass hit on the fall pretty hard.... waited to feel the ...more weight then set the hook
