    Caught a 14lb drum out here. Fishing about 15-20 feet out. Used a small open face rod and put a weight on and a crappie hook. Threw it out and let it sit on bottom ...more until it started taking off with my rod. Best time to fish for drum here is when it's hot but not boiling hot outside. Drum love the bait more shallow than deep. Good luck y'all 😏🎣
