      @Taylor_Clyde yellow perch are longer with much narrower body's and are a yellow greenish with dark critical lines though out the body.

      @King_Fisher hit the mark. it's either a bluegill or a red breast the pic doesn't allow us to get a perfect identity on it.

      Nice fish but it's not a yellow perch. Can't tell for sure but it looks to be either a red breasted sunfish or a bluegill.
