On Tuesday evening I received an invite from Captain Jason Colby of Little Sister Charters to join him today for a day of blackfishing out of Westport, MA. Regretfully ...more I had to pass on the offer due to prior commitments. As luck would have it he found quite the productive rockpile this morning and he landed this 14-pound, 12-ounce Dream Boat entry blackfish! A short time earlier another angler on his boat had a similarly-sized blackfish spit the hook boat side. Once approved this will move Jason into first place in the blackfish division of the Dream Boat Challenge and stands as the largest blackfish taken this year to date in Massachusetts waters. - Toby
