Lower Spunk Lake is a 280-acre general development lake located partly within the city limits of Avon in north central Stearns County. The lake is 27.5 feet deep and clear. Cattails were found on over half of the lakeshore.

    Caught a bunch of bluegill at the lower spunk fishing pier this summer. Also, there's a culvert on the other side of the bike trail that has more bluegill and ...more bass in it. I recommend trying it this summer. Great spot to go that is easy to fish!
