This past Sunday I decided not to skip my fishing trip to Cottonwood Lake, North of Decatur, TX. It was the best decision I could have made. During the time that ...more I was fishing from the shore I caught a new personal best Black Crappie and Largemouth Bass. The Crappie was 14 inches, but I didn't get a weight. The Bass was 21 inches with a 14 inch girth. At 5.1 pounds it outweighed my former personal best by a full 2 pounds. Both were caught on live minnows. I wish that I had someone at home that was better with a camera but at least I got photos.
