Can anyone recommend a good launch ramp on Lake Erie, near Erie Pa. Looking for a ramp that is fairly friendly... even if it cost $ to launch & park. Plan on ...more launching my 23ft boat when season starts. Still learning the boat & want to be safe. Thanks.

  walnut creek is also a good launch, East Ave has a launch that's pretty good

  there are a few. Presque isle state park is a good ramp. It is by the marina on presque isle. It is free. You will launch into the marina channel then go into the ...more bay. Lampe marina is also a good ramp. It has 5 ramps i believe and is free. It launches into the lake. Those are the best 2 in erie. There is one at the base of chestnut street, but is small with minimal parking. Bay harbor has one that doubles as a travel lift spot and is very steep. There are a couple smaller ones on the peninsula as well, but geared toward small boats. Hope this helps.
