I've been going in August for a long time... we've generally caught walleye in the evening (no surprise there)… rather deep around sand bars and the like.....a ...more guide once took me to a bar outside Edgewater bay, used depth finder to find and track baitfish... we caught 6 nice keepers in about an hour and a half trolling. We've used rapalas and daredevils...also crayfish like lures. Good luck PS... we are headed there this Saturday...
