      Thank you for the information. Im heading up Tuesday the 6th. I know where Edgewater is. Seems like trolling is the only way to the eyes in August. Good luck next ...more week.

      I've been going in August for a long time... we've generally caught walleye in the evening (no surprise there)… rather deep around sand bars and the like.....a ...more guide once took me to a bar outside Edgewater bay, used depth finder to find and track baitfish... we caught 6 nice keepers in about an hour and a half trolling. We've used rapalas and daredevils...also crayfish like lures.

    going to Haywards round lake in July. usually I'm a June Fisher up there. any advice for finding the walley or perch in July when temps start to crank up.
