Who knows what kind of snake this is? It's not a copperhead but it doesn't look like a water sneakers either. It has the cat eyes like a copperhead and the ...more sucker was not afraid at all. He saw me, moved his head and was watching me did not even try to run. Water snakes usually run as soon as you come close.

  Northern water snake there non venomous but the are aggressive if you mess with them but I walk right past them when fishing all the time with no problem.

  Water snakes are actually extremely aggressive and will stand their ground like a copperhead. Doesn't look like that snake has venom sacs on its head but it's ...more hard to tell
