What would u recommend? Lever drag or star drag? I'm considering penn squalls, anyone ever use this reel?

Texas_Slam 030 or 40 trilene big game is perfect for casting and is pretty cheap. But I use 40 lb ande mono or diamond moimoi. Kinda expensive but as long as you keep your line ...more fresh (with no frays) your good.
