I caught my first crappie on Wednesday with my son and my boyfriend. We didn't have a scale but they both say it was a "monster" and by far the biggest ...more crappie they had ever seen. Also that it was a beautiful fish, not all beat up, like he had never been caught before. They guessed him to be around maybe 2-2 1/2 pounds or so. My son took a picture of his hand next to him. (My son's almost 24 so adult male hand in the picture.)
