We launched out of Bluebird Rd this morning to get in a few hours of practice. Threw top water early and only had a few blasts at it, but nothing ever swallowed ...more it. All of our fish, with the exception of one spot, came off shallow grass pockets. Caught the spot on a laydown off the main lake. Mostly caught fish on a shaky head, but a couple did come on a shallow crank bait. We were also able to graph a few new spots that look good for winter patterns!!
