They raised the water a couple of days ago on the river making things slow down a little bit. Now the walleyes are getting used to the high water and the current ...more and they are starting to pick up again. This year we have seen 8 fish over the 10 pound mark, which is the best we have seen in many years. Biggest one tipped the scales at just over 13 pounds. Jig and minnow or jig and a twister tail have been the number one producer so far. Walleyes should continue to get better in the next couple of weeks. Crappie fishing has also picked up a little. Dell Creek area seems to be the hotspot as of late. Small jigs tipped with minnows are working well. Stop by the shop if you have any questions or if you need bait. Good Luck!!!!
