We are starting to see more and more anglers hitting the water recently, which is a good sign. Crappies and bluegills have been the popular bite. Water is still ...more a little cold but fish should be transitioning to their spawning areas. They might be a little deeper because of the water temps. Minnows are working for crappies and redworms and bee moths are working for the bluegills. Catfish have been decent as well. Nightcrawlers and chicken livers has been the bait of choice. Anglers are reporting catching a lot of carp while fishing for catfish. We have also had reports of wipers being caught. Waters still a little cold for the walleyes to turn on so we haven’t heard a lot of reports. That should change here in the next couple of weeks as the water temps increase.
We are stock full of bait and lures so stop on by and say hi…Good Luck!!!
