Smallmouth fishing has been on fire this last week. Seems like anything you throw is being hit by smallies. Crankbaits and spinners are working well, however, ...more nightcrawlers thrown on rocky shorelines have been tough to beat. Crappies have been fair, with anglers finding them by the rocky cliffs walls. Minnows are still the best for them. Walleyes are a little tougher. Most of the action has been trolling crankbaits.
