You would think a massive cold front would turn off the fishing on a lake. But a massive cold front in July is just what we need to get the fish active. Crappies ...more have been excellent on artificial bait in the red/white or chartreuse color. Bluegills are pretty active in 4-7 feet of water on bee moths and crickets. Catfish have been fair. Mostly biting on nightcrawlers and stink bait. The lake level is up a little bit because of the rain but it will go down in a couple days to where it was before. And the water temps should go down to normal as it was pretty high during that heat wave we had. Fishings getting better so come on down and stop by. Good Luck!!!
