Fishing conditions at Mt. Elbert Forebay have been fair. Anglers fishing the southern part of the reservoir in the morning reported great success catching rainbow ...more trout on worms and pink PowerBait. However, trout activity tapered off by the afternoon with more anglers not landing a single fish. Float tube anglers caught lake trout on jigs coupled with sucker meat during the morning.
