Repaired two rigs, then went carping in 66 degrees Colonial Lake this evening on a warm, sunny day with a strong northwest wind 💨. Two fishermen were in my spot when I arrived, but they left before I put on my boots. I threw out Walmart canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught a bluegill, golden shiner and 18” 2 lb 14 oz common carp with corn 🌽 bait. Caught the carp on my last cast of the day at 7 PM at night. Landed 8 carp in my last 7 trips to the same spot.
