Went fishing 🎣 in 89.9 degrees Dam Site 21 this evening during a severe thunderstorm ⛈️. All six of the other fishermen left before the storm ⛈️ arrived. I threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released an 8” bluegill with a 1/32 ounce twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Caught and released a redeared slider and painted turtle 🐢 with corn 🌽 bait. Landed 37 turtles 🐢 this year. Also caught a 29” 10 lb 14 oz common carp with corn 🌽 bait. Landed 45 carp this year. Got soaked. My Frogg Toggs rain jacket is not waterproof.
