Went fishing in Manasquan Inlet on the north jetty this evening on the incoming tide during a nor’easter. Air temp was only 52 degrees. Got the first parking spot near the jetty. Caught, tagged and released an out of season, undersized fluke in the inlet with a plain hook Ava A-17. That’s 13 consecutive, successful trips to Manasquan recently. Squid, bunker, shad and glass minnows were in the inlet. Minnows and fluke were under the lights at night. A spear fisherman was in the inlet. Squid 🦑 fishermen were squiding with a green light in Point Pleasant at night. No surfers or beach people were there. It rained on my way home.
