Another successful fishing trip with my high school friends this year! After a zero hookup morning and two smaller gar, I hooked into this beast finally and made it count! It tried to cut the line on the boat 5 times, but it didn’t know who it was dealing with 😉 it also had it’s teeth about an inch away from the braided line, but all’s well that ends well! 79” long, 30” girth, estimated 130 lbs and my first ever alligator gar! 🙌 everything’s bigger in Texas!
