Caught a Walleye on Greenwood Lake using a spoon plug

my last walleye before the lake froze 2017. not a giant.. now just have to get out there and find them under the ice

  if you figure that out let me know, i can't get a walleye through the ice in NJ...I've been told you have to fish at night, but it doesn't make sense ...more cause we catch them during the day in open water all the time. delaware river is the only spot i've heard of them being caught through the ice during the day consistently. I used to mark what i thought were walleye on my flasher at swartswood, but they'd never bite!
