Had a blast this morning and caught almost a double limit. Caught the first one with normal reel in retrieve. Next I tried a reel, pause, reel and that was the pattern. Reel three times, let it sit for one second, reel 3 times etc. caught a total of 9 this morning from 6:45am-8:15am this way. Wind was blowing all the baitfish to the back side of the pond and caught 8 out of the 9 there. I didn't weigh any as I did simple fishing this AM. One reel and rod with Whopper Plopper, needle nose pliers and my phone. Most were legal keepers but one and he was fat.
