Ocean Isle Beach - hit the pier the day before we left. Couldn't figure anything out for the 1st couple hours. Nothing on live shrimp (bobber) or mullet (carolina rig). Decided to lose the weight and started to let the mullet free swim. That did the trick. Bites came around pier pilings and surf break. Hot, sunny and light wind.
