Between long beach and Catalina. Around 20 miles out fly fishing with live bait, 4/0 hook, and 3/8 and 1/2 oz egg sinker. Man the yellowtail fight hard! Landed it after a good 20 min fight. The fish is around 20 - 30lb range. I'm not sure I just know I could barely hold it up.
