New personal best and new species all in one. Got my first flathead this morning on a rattle trap along with several +15lb gar, white bass, and a potential new PB smallmouth buffalo! Casted toward some shallow boulders near a concrete wall and hooked into him half way back with a fast retrieve. He stuck under the water long enough to make me think it was a foul hooked gar. Great fight and morning!
