  @blueninja he actually didn't hit any harder than the small fish we were catching. The fight started when I set the hook.

  Dad caught some rat reds also. We caught 4 species today. Dad was a flounder short of a slam. We caught croaker, reds, piggies, and a speck. @txfisherman713
