Caught this beautiful Longear a couple days ago and got a great close up! The colors on these fish make them one of my absolute favorite freshwater species. It hit as my bait flowed out of a long shallow pool into an even smaller but deep stream. The fish were hanging on the bottom waiting on an easy meal to pass by.
