The tide was flat incoming with clear green water. Jigging fast and getting into a mess of large ladyfish alongside. First ever pompano for me, caught on the bay side of the bridge in 14 FOW. Fought good for its size, using a 5/0 circle hook. A lot of fish are holding thick in the bottom three feet of water. Throwing any soft plastic triggered a bite.

      Here in fl. It's 11 inches to the fork. I prefer the 12 to 16 inches. You should try one. Good luck.

      I heard they were good but I didn't keep this one. What size is usually good eating? Head to tip of tale was 14" on this one. @flounderking63
