This is a first. Slow crawlin a football jig thru deep parts of the lake looking for new structure. The fish hit as I was reeling it in just passed where my polarized glasses could see. Snapped a pic and sent it on its way.

      To fish about twice a year yes bull reds fight harder but it's just easier for me to throw out a can of corn my carp setup and a catfish rod and relax on the ...more bank for a few hrs maybe get a 20+lb fish

      @lainedillard Lol. First of all, they're base. Second, if you only catch two dinky base after a hard day of fishing, then yea stick to carp. When you hook a ...more base, you never know what it's going to do

      @Rickerstaf carp fishing is best fishing they out fight a bass all day instead of working all day for two dinky little bass that don't fight you can sit back ...more relax and catch 2-3 of the hardest fightin

      There's some big ones in there. I fished for them a couple years ago. Just chummed a spot with corn for a couple days, then fished with corn on a hair rig
