Caught a Largemouth Bass on Montour Run

Just got my new gander mountain elite series baitcaster. I just wanted to know what y guys think I should spool it with? Mono backing?

  I tie a modified uni knot that keeps both lines pointed in the opposite directions

  Put electrical tape around the spool and put a good amount of mono on it then braid
