I am thinking about getting a g loomis greenwater 7' medium light with a moderate fast tip! Would that be a good rod for redfish and flounder? @ReelGame @Reel_Smooth

I have a custom HookSpit rod that i use on the Yak and wading. Its 6'8 and super light, but strong back bone. It handles super super well. @ReelGame @txfisherman713 ...more will let you know how light it is

Have any of you used a medium light or a medium power rod? Or would they easily be broken? @Reel_Smooth @ReelGame

AllStar rods are great great rods for the price. I wouldn't pay much for St. Croix or American Rodsmith cause i would go custom. But thats just me.

MH would be your best bet bud. But like @ReelGame said... Its best to go with what feels best in your hand. Also take a look at the Quantum Smoke Inshore. Those ...more three reels are great for saltwater.
