      mason you need to start out with a black max but if you want to Jump right into the backlashes then get a curado

      Mason, I can tell you from experience to with a St. Croix Mojo Bass Rod, specifically set up for soft plastics. For reel, go with an Abu Garcia Revo SX or STX. Spool ...more it with 14lb fluoro, an good to go
