Good size pike from May this year. It was long but very skinny with a huge head, so im guessin it had only finished spawning not long before i caught it. Was a warm overcast day with minimal wind. Best results by retrieving the fly with various length strips very slowly around mid depth. This was one of the best days I've had this year on Derwent water. Depth around 7ft with weedy bottom.
