My first Great Smoky Mountains trout! This Wild Rainbow may be small but it is still a very special catch to me. Water was very high and murky from a previous thunderstorm. Fishing behind boulders and any slack water. Moving upstream to find clearer water. The little river is 30 miles long so there were plenty of spots to fish. Weather warmed up to about 70* and was overcast. Water was very cold

ya Browns bite better in murky water, I'm heading up to 4000 ft tmrw to fly fish for brooks in the upper reaches of Abrams and little river @Mason_Cizek
    15. Mason Cizek 0
Little river doesn't have to many brooks. Go higher up and you'll find them. Surprised you haven't caught a brown
    16. TennesseeTroutboy 0
It probably was a bow that's all I was seeing @Mason_Cizek

Highly doubt the brook, they don't get that big up there. Most likely a bow, but you never know
