City lake had recently flooded after a monstrous rain storm. A lot of places in town got 4-8" of rain in a 24 hour period. Holmes receives a lot of runoff from the golf course and surrounding area. Water rose at least 5'. Some fish moved shallow and the ones that did were 3lbs+. Caught 3 from 18"-20", all on the Squarebill. Erratic retrieve in stained water. Quantum Smoke, Abu Garcia Varitas MH
