Caught a Other Snapper on using a 3 worms on a worm hook. I let it take it for a minute. Caught on 12 pound test line. When you hook into one hold your rod tip up so he won't burry.

  That's not 52 pounds more like 20 at most. I mean it is more then 13 pounds @Mason_Cizek @htgaddis . I've had snapping turtles from the creek in my backyard ...more and we weighed them and they where like 10

  Here is the problem I'm having, snapping turtles don't get over 35 pounds. I've handled my fair share of turtles and that one looks about 13 pounds.
