Fished a catch and release area of the housatonic with my bro in law. TONS of smallmouth. mostly small fish but I knew that there were big fish in this particular area from previous trips. This fish was one of the hardest fights I have ever had. Between super light gear, stiff current and rocks everywhere I'm surprised I landed him at all. Personal best river Smallie for me
