Caught a Skate on using a Double tail jig

Caught a couple large Skate while bottom fishing for Halibut. It takes a lot of work to winch these things 170' off the bottom.

  Is a skate the same thing as a stingray? He looks different.

  Pain in the ass here! Have had some trips where these guys steal are bait before sharks can ahaha but couldn't imagine reeling them up from that depth.
