Now I'm in Washington for a few more days and went down to a beach here with a rocky shore so I decided to move around the rocks and see what kind of wildlife I could find. Ended up seeing hundreds of these little guys scattered throughout the beach!

      On Vancouver island we find them everywhere on the beach and we use them for bait for the dogfish

      Those are sidewinder crabs awesome bait for surf perch! Pin those whole onto a size 4 or 2 hook Carolina rigged with 3/4 oz weight for small surf conditions and ...more 2 oz if it's a strong current
