My neigbor at the lake was actually noodling for little ones but caught this 80 pound monster! Kerr lake also holds the world record catfish (143 pounds) and there is a rumor someone had one at the surface and it broke the line that was bigger than the world record! Kerr lake is the catfish capital of the world!

      Rod fishing: chicken liver, cut up peices of smaller fish (crappie and bream). Noodling: cut up peices of smaller fish! Good luck! @crookcody19

      Yeah I mean I've handled big reds and flatheads so I should be good but yeah I've heard for years from people that the catfish there get to outrageous sizes. ...more What's the best bait to use down there

      Be careful on a kayak. It might pull you! Catfish are monsters there! You should be hooked when you get there! It's super fun noodling!
