The pharyngeal teeth of a black drum, used to crack crustaceans, mollusks and such when they're sucked into the mouth. I'm told they're about 7 pharyngeal slits down, and I'm sure most of the fisherman who catch the drum recognize this structure pretty well. Unfortunately, all of the molar-like "teeth" fell out of mine and now I mostly just have the pad. I still love it though!

      Ha, took me a second to see the frog. Next you need to catch a sheepshead, a mako and then a stargazer to continue your studies interesting fish mouths.
