2nd fish Ohio Bowfin this year ... spent the morning jugging trying to get big channels but the Bowfin were spawning and going crazy. Caught 15 total and buddy caught a 20" channel or so

Matthew Ormesher 0The creek (I call it a river because it is to me no creek has the variety of fish as that) where I caught those is 5 mins from my house and had more of those than ...more ANYTHING... they are awful and invasive ... fun to catch though

I ended up cutting one up for bait I was so sick of catching them ... a buddy and I were in same spot ...more a few days before this and pulling huge channels up but the hooks I had sucked so they would spit when they broke water ... went back with 6/0 circles after that crap lol
