      Thank you for the tip I was thinking of getting a new pole soon so I will look into a nice heavy pound pole

      Heavy rod and braid. 50# power pro. Don't set hook until u feel fish swimming with it. Real easy to get excited when they blow up and jerk it away from them

      There is this one small pond I am going to use it at where the fish hit top water
