That's cool. I pretty much target Muskys but have been getting a lot of pike out of Pewaukee this year. The musky equipment I use is a little bit overkill for ...more pike so I'm not to worried about them getting off.
I've landed 32" Northern Pike off of the Shoreline, but when my DAD caught his 38" Northern Pike, 14.5 lbs. I was only maybe 10 yrs. old and he wouldn't ...more let me net it. My Dad had the Baitcaster Casting Reel, and he was using a BASS-O-RINO, White and Red Floating LURE and at first he thought that he was stuck on a log. Then it started moving, but we were both surprised to see that it was a PIKE.
I still have that Pike on my wall in my Apartment.
Your Photo says around 1:38p.m.. Is this about the Correct time of catching this beautiful PIKE?
It looks bigger than 34" in the picture, and you caught it ...more when the Lake is Calm too.
VERY GOOD JOB, BUT DID YOU NET THIS PIKE BY YOURSELF TOO, or DID SOMEONE NET IT FOR YOU??
