After the colder weather moved in and firmed up the ice I went out to do some walleye fishing. I ended up catching pike instead. I caught this guy and one smaller one. I also lost a monster that I never did see, probably in the 40+ inch range. I went back and forth with him for several minutes before he bit through my 20 lb fluorocarbon walleye leader. All of the pike action was on tip ups with suckers.
