We fished about 8 hours until dark. Caught 10-15 decent pike 20-30" in 5ft of water on the southwest corner on the grassy flats with top water baits. We caught a few smallies on the rocky south side drop-offs with rattlin' shads and on the west side flats with surface baits (on their beds). As it got dark we caught 3 large mouth and 2 walleye on a drop off at the north end of the lake. The large mouth were pretty big for MI - a pleasant surprise. They were caught with top water. The walleye were decent at just under 20" and were caught with rapala original cranks (black top and orange/red bottom). A good day of fishing but we worked the lake pretty hard with three relatively experienced guys. A couple of guys canoed to Porter Lake and caught more than us in a couple hours with spoons. They had a mix of northerns, smallies and walleye - mostly northerns. We'll probably hit Porter pretty hard next spring for a weekend.
